Virtual Cons

I didn’t really get the chance to spread the news all that much, but I did get to attend the virtual version of Norwescon this year. And while the typical fandom scene I get into at live conventions was nowhere to be found, I did get to participate in many organized (to varying degrees) writing panels. Which will make me a better writer. As will doing more writing,

You see, you always want to be a better writer. And while my writing is pretty good, it could stand to be better. It would take an entire library to hold the great works that their authors viewed as “not good enough”, some of which changed the world., created new genres, and altered the way future works would be written.

Now I’m not putting myself in the prestigious company of Wells, Asimov, and Gaiman. But there is something to be said for writing books people want to read.
